I want to invite you to a “safe place” to hear a “dangerous message.” What message could be so dangerous? The message of the Bible is dangerous because it is life changing. Scripture says, “All those in Christ have become new people; new things have come and old things have passed away.” (2 Cor 5:17) We are focused on sharing the great love of Christ with our community and our world in order to see God glorified and magnified in people’s lives. CCBC is a family of Christ-followers, committed to worshiping and honoring the Lord through personal discipleship. We hope that we can be a blessing to you by serving you and sharing the joy of Christ with you.
Jesus reached out to people of all ages and backgrounds and we desire to do the same. That's why you'll discover ministries that are geared to various age groups and stages in life. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to study the Scriptures, worship together and minister to others through numerous service opportunities.
We trust you will find our Web site informative and encouraging. Please contact us with questions or comments and join us in person whenever you can.
Jesus said, "Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing." (John 15:5) It is our desire to be branches that bear the fruit of Christ’s love and forgiveness. Won’t you come and join us in worship as we seek to follow Him? I’ll look forward to seeing you soon.
All for His glory,
James (“J”) Thompson, Pastor
