Part-Time Youth Minister

Cedar Creek Baptist Church of Blythewood, SC is searching for a part-time Youth Minister

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be a Christian and represent not only CCBC, but Jesus Christ Himself and demonstrate a real love and concern for all people.

• Must be pleasant, discreet, tactful, and capable of honoring confidential communications.

• Must show a willing attitude of Christian service to their position and its responsibility.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Be prepared and present to teach Sunday School on Sunday mornings at 9:15

• Attend Sunday morning worship service

• Be prepared and present to lead Wednesday night youth group each week from 6:30-8:30

• Organize and attend summer camp

• Organize and attend winter retreat

• Lead the youth in service projects

• Engage with the youth through activities they have going on in life

• Pray diligently for the youth and challenge them to further their relationship with Christ

• Be available by phone and consistent communication with the youth

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• At least a high school diploma and working towards a Biblical degree

• Well grounded knowledge of the Scriptures

SCHEDULE & SALARY

• Vacation is 6 days per year

• Sick days are 2 per year

Cedar Creek Baptist Church is a small (70-100 people) community church.  We are located in Blythewood, SC – nine miles from campus off of Monticello Road.  We are in a growing and vibrant community with a desire to reach our community for Jesus Christ!
