At Cedar Creek Baptist Church, we believe that children are not only the future of the Church but also an important part of the Kingdom of God today! Our Children’s Ministry is dedicated to helping children grow in their faith, build lasting friendships, and learn about God’s love in a safe, fun, and engaging environment.
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide a nurturing space where children can discover the joy of following Jesus, experience God's love, and develop a strong foundation in faith that will carry them through life. Through Bible stories, interactive activities, and age-appropriate lessons, we aim to help children:
- Know God: Experience the love and truth of Jesus Christ.
- Grow in Faith: Build a strong, personal relationship with Jesus.
- Show God’s Love: Serve others and share God’s love with the world.
What We Offer
- Sunday Morning Classes: Fun, interactive Bible lessons tailored for different age groups (Infants, Toddlers, Pre-K, Elementary).
- Worship: Engaging songs and praise to teach children about worship and glorifying God.
- Special Events & Camps: Vacation Bible School (VBS), seasonal activities, and other events designed to further develop their faith and create lasting memories.
Age Groups
- Nursery (0-3 years): Safe, caring environment for our youngest members, where they can begin to experience the love of God through gentle stories and music.
- Preschool (4-5 years): Fun Bible stories, crafts, and activities to help young children start to understand key Bible concepts.
- Elementary (K-6th grade): Dynamic Bible lessons, games, and worship experiences that make learning about God exciting and meaningful.
Safety First
Your child's safety is our top priority. All of our volunteers undergo background checks and receive training to ensure a secure and loving environment for every child.

We love partnering with parents and volunteers to make our Children’s Ministry thrive! Whether you want to serve in a classroom, assist with events, or support children’s activities, there are many ways to be involved in this exciting ministry.
Kid’s Bible Clubs
Wednesday nights are filled with games and biblical lessons for ages 3 thru Kindergarten and 1st thru 6th grade. These activities focus on learning the Bible in a fun and exciting way.
Children in Action (CA) (ages 3 through Kindergarten) is a co-ed group designed for boys and girls to come to faith in Christ as Savior while making missions an important part of their daily lives. They learn what it means to live a missional lifestyle while they participate in Bible studies, missions projects and engaging activities. They also have a lot of fun as they "travel" to various places around the world when they learn about and pray for the work of missionaries.
Mission Friends (1st through 6th grade) is the WMU missions discipleship group for preschoolers from birth through kindergarten. In Mission Friends, preschoolers develop a mission's heart as they move from a focus on themselves to a focus on others. Preschoolers grow toward God as they become aware that God wants everyone to know of His love.
Children in Action and Mission Friends meet the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month at 6:00 pm. These activities focus on learning the Bible in a fun and exciting way. Please check out our calendar of events for dates and times.

We meet the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 12 pm starting in October. Wonderful fellowship, good food and enlightening programs and speakers await you each month. We will also study areas such as the Sermon on the Mount, eschatology, the Second Coming of Christ, faith, miracles, biographies, etc.
We provide a casual format so that you can ask questions as we dig deep into the riches of God’s Word. Guests and visitors are always welcome to attend.
